Congrats Betty, I wish you much success.

  2. Way to go, Betty! Always nice to hear the great things about you and your books!

  3. Betty Dravis says:

Thanks, Angel Jess, for writing me up again and updating people about my books. It means a lot to me. Your love is eternal…and that goes both ways.

I see you have dear Kashy Keegan, my fave poet Donna Solitario and Dr. Linda Salvin in this issue; all people I know and hold dear. Can’t wait to read all your interviews. You certainly put a lot of hard work in each edition of TSM. I’m in awe…

All that, and you opened a fine restaurant in Spain between editions. Unbelievable… Hope it’s going great. Is that a Gilbert family venture?

Might I recommend author Wayne Zurl for an interview? He’s an ex-NY cop who retired to NC and is now writing books about–what else: a retired cop who takes the badge up again in his NC retirement community? He’s very interesting and his books are doing great.

Also, recommend Matt and Danielle Drake who are writing individual books for cancer children, starring each one as the hero in his or her own book.

Thanks for the article again, and for your time.

    Hugs and love – Betty

Hi, dearest Cher, Proud to be your Mommie… LOL (but who’s the Daddy? Our secret…and private joke!)

Yes, I’m honored to have been in top 20 of THE FOURTH ANNUAL SHORTY AWARDS/author; ACTUALLY ENDED UP 18, which is great, considering the great J.K. Rowling ended up No. 6. :-)

Thanks for noticing and for just loving me.

      Hugs – Betty

I’m new to the ‘Betty Dravis Fan Club’ – And ‘What?’ you ask, attracts me to Betty?

The foremost trait I realized about Miss Dravis is her generosity to the legions of women authors who look up to her. She follows their achievements, she’s interested in their projects, she ‘grows’ the community in the sweetest way possible.

Congratulations, Betty! What a real pleasure to have Discovered You!

    • Betty Dravis says:

Ah-hhh, and here’s my latest friend: dear Emily. You’re right! I do enjoy helping authors, but men as well as women. Ask Frank Nappi, Wayne Zurl, C. Robert Lee, Daniel L. Carter, and Mark LaFlamme, to name a few. I’m not gender conscious. :-)

Emily, you are my latest FB friend and I’m having so much fun with you. Can’t wait to read and review your works. I hear that you’re a fine writer… I know you’re a fine woman.

Love, respect and appreciate you already,

      Hugs – Betty

  9. Congratulation on your many, many achievements Betty Dravis! I’m proud to call you my friend, and honored to be working with you on our (certain to be a hit) literary project!

    • Betty Dravis says:

Well, now, here’s my co-author and dear friend, the renowned horror/paranormal writer Barbara Watkins! I could go on and on about you, SF. It’s such fun working with you on SIX-PACK OF BLOOD… It’s almost ready and will be on Amazon soon. I’m so honored to have three short bloody stories by you in this collection (3 by me. Thus the title: Six-Pack of Blood.

I think our trailer by Kelly Komm will scare our readers to death, let alone our stories. :-)

Thanks for my latest fun adventure in this crazy book-publishing industry. It’s been an enjoyable ride; frightening at times, but that’s the way with horror. I look forward to working with you for a long time.

Thanks for the mutual love and respect.

      Hugs – Betty (HF)

  10. Great work on the Top 20, Betty!

    • Betty Dravis says:

Hi, Jenny, I’m always turned-on when an author of your caliber comes on. Your works are known to me and you’re a great writer. Thanks for dropping by.

As for top 20 (actually No. 18), I wish I were Top 18th author in the world, since that Shorty Awards was an international competition. However, it was for authors who made the most of Social Media, an honor in itself. Since it went by popular vote, I worked hard to make sure my friends all knew about it. In fact, everyone on these comments voted for me. Thanks a lot, guys! Love you all.

Jenny, I’ll be visiting your site very soon. I need one more book for my Kindle Fire… Sure, it do… :-)

      Hugs – Betty Dravis

  11. Julie says:

Congrats on all your achievements, Mrs. Dravis!! You are one of a kind :-)

    • Betty Dravis says:

Ah-hhh, my little Boo-Boo…all the way from Spain. Honey, you might just be my no. one fan. All you do for me and my books is unbelievable. I need a hundred or a thousand like you and I’d make the best-seller lists in no time. :-)

You’re awesome! Love you to pieces.

      Hugs – Betty

  12. Wayne Zurl says:

A great lady and wonderful writer. Hi ya, Betts. Knock ‘rm dead.

    • Betty Dravis says:

Hey, Wayne, I’m noted for getting my “men,” so how come you’re the only one to show up? But at least you brought Sammy with you. (Can’t leave home without him, eh?) :-)

I think the same of you, sweetie: great man and wonderful writer. Love your PROSPECT series and as you know, Sam Jenkins is my current fave TOP COP! (Don’t tell Clint!)

Congrats on your latest book honors. Wow!

      Hugs – Betty
