Where is God?
I see him in your smile
He is in the twinkle of your eyes
While blessing you with a dazzling style
The comfort he gives to you when you cry
When we hug each other just because
For the many ways that we touch
Each others lives, and accepting me just as I am
Inspiring each other and bringing out the very best
For being true and remarkable friends
Being there when we need each other at our quest
While searching for love when we need to mend
Our broken dreams, and not sure of where to start
Capturing the beauty inside of our hearts
In the journey of our lives
I feel that God is close by our sides
In fact, I see God in our spirits and loving hearts
I am touched by the love I never knew
While God being in the very essence of me and you
Because of him and you, I have come to know Love
Where is God? Why, he lives in you and me
For where there is love, I can see God

Coming Home To My Heart
The heavens felt the ache, inside of my heart and soul
The sky ripped open to embrace and hold
My broken tattered heart
While the pouring rain suddenly stopped
The clouds collected each one of my fears
The sun gave me refuge and dried my tears
The lightening cast its power upon my head
Withdrawing all the heartache I ever shed
Mountains glory replaced the poison, inside of my veins
Filling it with dignity and freeing shame
I heard the voice of God, in the depths of my spirit
Whispering in my ear, “One day soon you will over come and flourish”
The angels danced around me with glee and charm
Breathing love into my spirit while making me strong

Follow Your Dreams
Inside of of you, there lies a star
Although others may not believe in you
Never stop believing that your dreams can come true
Stretch for your dreams as high as you can
One day you will begin to live them
while making a positive difference in the world that we live
For dream reachers know how to give
In the end you will be truly blessed
For the legacy that you left
Will continue to touch many souls
A priceless gift to treasure and hold
An Angel Appeared
A beautiful angel appeared when I was once in tears
I was feeling lonely and full of fear
I went to the Chapel to pray
To find peace in my day
It was then that she appeared
While she told me that God really cared
Falling from my eyes were a million tears
She told me my tears would be given to those who could not cry
So that they could find peace inside
I began to fly with her in the bluest of skies
She kissed my cheek
That it was ok to feel lonely
That I was never all alone
One day I would be carried home
The good I did on the Earth would be known
I hugged her and watched her go
I lost the loneliness and fear
When an angel appeared
